ABSTRACT
The enzyme glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK3) is a Ser/Thr kinase that regulates
the expression of cytokines during the inflammatory response by modulating the
activity of nuclear factor kB (NF-kB) and cAMP response element-binding protein
(CREB). This review presents one of the mechanisms that regulate GSK3 activity
and its effect on
Staphylococcus aureus infections
