ABSTRACT
Objective. To determine mother hood satisfaction at childbirth experience and their association with pain, expectations and autocontrol.
Material and Methods. A descriptive correlation systematic probability sample and a 200 patients samples systematic random was made.
Maternal Mackey satisfaction scale, Harnett autocontrol, Mackey expectations, and visual analog scale were used. To analyze data, a dispersion and central tendency descriptive statistical analysis was, and for the inferential data the spearman correlation test.
Results. The women were satisfied with their total experience a childbirth (X=79.09) at the ¿secretive? in a subscale with herself (X=72.20) with her son (=82.66), nurses ((0.09), and physician (=79.42).
We have found that women have a how autocontrol level (=61.5) meanwhile their expectation ¿auceaze readied? 78.12. The pain was severe in (=7.07), satisfaction of low pain relief (=68.12).
Regarding the relation between the variables where significant they positive in autocontrol (r5=.325), expectations (r5=.492) the variable of pain was negative with satisfactions related (r5=-.157).
Conclusion. His necessary to increase the preparation of women regarding all events related to childbirth as of
applying satisfaction scales in other health institutions to compare the results abstained and reply this study.
