Prótesis discal de núcleo por vía anterior, tratamiento opcional en disrupción interna de disco. Reporte de caso

RESUMEN
La disrupción interna de disco (DID) es una de las causas más frecuente de lumbalgias, existe mucha controversia sobre su diagnóstico y tratamiento. Las técnicas que aparecieron para el tratamiento de DID incluyen el tratamiento conservador, fusión intervertebral, terapia electrotérmica intradiscal y las prótesis de disco entre otros. La prótesis de núcleo (PDN) puede ser una alternativa de tratamiento. Nosotros reportamos el caso de una femenina de 38 años con DID que fue tratada con PDN por vía anterior, los resultados clínicos son muy alentadores, con una disminución en la escala de Oswestry (de 64 a 0 puntos) y la escala visual análoga (de 9 a 0 puntos) a un año de evolución.
