Diagnóstico serológico de la infección por el virus c de la hepatitis (parte I)

RESUMEN
Las pruebas serológicas se han convertido en herramientas fundamentales en el diagnóstico y manejo de la infección
por el virus de la hepatitis c (VHC). Estas pruebas incluyen la detección de anticuerpos contra el VHC en suero,
la detección y cuantificación del ARN-VHC, así como la determinación del genotipo del VHC en suero. Estas pruebas
son fundamentales en el diagnóstico y manejo terapéutico de la hepatitis c. En este artículo hacemos una revisión
exhaustiva del tema.
