ABSTRACT
In this work we analyze the accumulation of pollen grains in sedimentological samples obtained from different fabrics (cotton fibers, wool, jean and nylon), placed in the cannel of a river. This study was base don the incidence of flow velocity on the Surface of the river, side walls, and on the bed, the viscosity of the current`s flow and the slope of the channel, with respect to the variability in the concentration of pollen grains and clays materials that are present, depending on the flow load in the river caused by an increase in rainfall, flooding and meltwater. The results obtained in this work show that the proportion in the accumulation of pollen grains in the river bed depends on the transport energy and flow velocity, the granulometry of the fine materials in suspensión and the friction that is perform between the surface of the bed and the wáter column.REFERENCES
