ABSTRACT
Recognition of right ventricular stroke is crucial because it defines a clinical entity strongly associated with morbility and mortality. Acute occlusion of the right proximal coronary artery and its branches provoke right ventricular failure. Despite right ventricular function spontaneously improves even in the absence of reperfusion, recovery may be slow and associated with high inter-hospital morbility and mortality. Reperfusion therapy can be initiated in early stages so survival, clinical evolution and right ventricle recovery could be achieved.
