ABSTRACT
The treatment with hyperbaric oxygen it has begun for several centuries behind, in the seventies were integrated in association, within United States. The tension of Hyperbaric Oxygen around or below one atmosphere equivalent at 30 feet 10 or meters deep, 30 mmHg modifies hemorrheologic mechanisms in the circulation, in the energy metabolisms and modifies leukocytes antibacterial action favoring these.
With the treatment of the HBO he/she improves the scaring conditions in the diabetic foot, in the outlying circulatory inadequacy, in the damage from neurological demyelization illness, in about 70% of the cases. Certainly in patients with the metabolic autocontrol, and the normal measures of asepsis and antibiotics the HBO improve. The procedure is easy and sure, in short time and without any risk or collateral effect. The administration of hyperbaric oxygenation a to high pressure for up to one atmosphere, their effects improve the state of health and it corrects several metabolic, vascular and degenerative abnormalities in the human body
