ABSTRACT
Humanitarian tourism has proliferated thanks to the large number of Non-Governmental Organizations that profit from situations of contingencies; sometimes they do nothing but hinder the true services to the victims and those who are really working in the disaster area. Humanitarian tourism apparently has the purpose of helping the victims but the reality is that it fulfills the purpose pursued by all tourist activity: leisure and recreation. We can see the humanitarian tourists take pictures with mouths covers and helmets making selfies with their cell phones as background the landscape of contingency, of the streets turned into scenes of desolation uploading to their social networks photos and videos to gain prestige and to be a trend.REFERENCES
