ABSTRACT
Early rehabilitation can reduce the complications associated with immobility. There is evidence of the efficacy of early rehabilitation in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit, however, it may not be used due to the lack of information on general benefits, safety and viability, this must be guaranteed by knowing the time of onset, intensity, hemodynamic variables and pharmacological effects. The implementation of an early rehabilitation program in neurological patients in the Intensive Care Unit is of great importance for disability prevention.
