ABSTRACT

Mucinous carcinoma of the breast, also called colloid, is an unusual and well-differentiated histological type of invasive ductal carcinoma, with an incidence of 1 to 7%, with less frequency of metastasis to axillary lymph nodes and a high survival rate. Bilateral breast cancer has an overall incidence of 4 to 20% in patients with primary breast cancer. We present a clinical case of synchronous bilateral mucinous carcinoma of the breast.
