ABSTRACT
Partial meniscectomy is the most common procedure in North America, the principal objective is to remove irrepairable tissue, as well as to preserve and repair healthy meniscal tissue. In some cases, total meniscectomy is conducted and this procedure leads to a painful condition. The objective of meniscal transplant is to relief symptoms after meniscectomy in whom conservative treatment has failed. In this review we talk about indications, techniques and clinical results of meniscal transplant in the actual context.
