ABSTRACT
Anaphylaxis is the most serious of allergic diseases, its delay in management significantly increases morbidity and mortality. So timely detection and management becomes a priority. Among the agents associated with anaphylaxis we find food, medicines, latex, and sting by hymenoptera. Anaphylaxis can affect any organ or system, giving rise to clinical manifestations so wide that they can make the diagnosis difficult. Initial management should be based on the pediatric evaluation triangle (ABCD) and the timely application of intramuscular adrenaline.
