ABSTRACT
The central giant cell lesion is considered historically a reactive lesion rather than a true neoplasm. 65% of cases are found in the mandible, divergence of tooth roots may also be seen, some cases has been report pain and paresthesia. Male patient 22 years of age diagnosed at 11 with central giant cell lesion, which was treated through surgical resection and extraction of deciduous and permanent teeth 3.3 and 3.4, and placement of xenograft. A follow-up was carried out for the following 11 years; after this time was diagnosed with a Seibert class III treated by means ridge augmentation with hard and soft tissue augmentation to allow implant-supported prosthetics.
