ABSTRACT
Dermoscopy is a non-invasive technique, that has been integrated
in general dermatology as it helps to obtain a more
accurate evaluation of cutaneous tumors, especially in melanoma
and also in other skin lesions. It is also useful in the diagnosis
and in monotoring treatment response for ectoparasitosis,
“entomodermatoscopy”, and is used for skin infections and
infestations. This article aims to provide a brief review of the
entomodermatoscopic patterns described for ectoparasitosis.
