RESUMEN

Las hiperpigmentaciones adquiridas son de los principales motivos de consulta dermatológica en nuestro país. La mayoría de ellas representan una patología benigna, sin embargo, su importancia radica en sus implicaciones cosméticas y en que su tratamiento es difícil. Este artículo de revisión se enfoca en la etiología, la fisiopatología y el tratamiento de algunas de las hiperpigmentaciones adquiridas más frecuentes en la consulta.
