We present a patient with an esophageal foreign body and esophageal stricture in the upper third of the organ. The clinical symptoms were dysphagia and sialorrhea. A radiopaque image in the upper third of the esophagus was observed during imaging tests, as well as, the computed tomography scan revealed esophageal wall thickening which reduced the light of the organ. The foreign body was extracted through rigid endoscopy and the patient was discharged after seven days without delayed complications.
