ABSTRACT
It is important to assess educational programs in order to update and give them feedback, as well as to evaluate their pertinence and results. The graduate follow up studies are useful for these purposes, they tend to characterize graduate groups who participated in a specialized program, whose goal is to assess their perception of the program and its results. For this study we constructed an instrument to measure the abilities designed at the Residence in Family Therapy of the Masters in Psychology Program in UNAM, and their perception of the abilities they constructed. 73 graduate students, that belonged to 12 students generations at this program responded to this instrument; we followed an assessment of reliability (Cronbach Alfa) and validity (analysis to identify the items discriminative power, and a factorial analysis). The instrument was consistent and valid; the responses about the program evaluation belonged to one factor; the graduate students expressed a positive perception of the program and their abilities; there was no significant difference neither between generations nor according to gender groups. We observed data about the labor insertion of the graduate students that need to be studied with more detail.REFERENCES
