ABSTRACT
Introduction: La surgical accepted technology(skill) universally described by Ramstedt for estenosis hipertrofica of pylorus (EHP) uses transverse incision supraumbilcal in top right(straight) quadrant (CSD) .Perfecting the method, to obtain better cosmetic results with equal low morbidity, they have described different boardings being more accepted the supraumbilical proposed by TanBianchi, being brought(reported) up to 30 % of complications, Alberti in 2004 proposes the boarding periumbilical right (PUD) with good results.
Methods: two groups with EHP, being realized piloromiotomia of Ramstedt comparing both, group A with PUD and B with CSD. We Bring (report) age, weight, sex, surgical time technical difficulties, postsurgical complications, emesis postsurgical, stay intrahospitalaria, cosmetic results.
Results: there is no significant difference in both groups, extension of incision was necesary in: 4 of the Group A (11) and 3 of the group B (15) .No bring(report) complications transsurgery.
Conclusions: the incision PUD, it is an excellent option for the surgeon who prefers piloromiotomia Ramstedt, with equal low morbidity and facility of access that the original procedure, but with better cosmetic results.
