ABSTRACT
A review of the elbow hygrome was carried out, motivated by the presentation of a case attended at the Consultation of Traditional Natural Medicine and Bioenergetics, sent from the Consultation of Orthopedics of the Vladimir Ilich Lenin General Provincial Hospital, in March 2015. It was a male adult of 69 years with this diagnosis in the left elbow, presented pain maintained for about four months in the elbow and a tumor that limited the movements, clinically diagnosed as elbow hygrome. The patient had conventional treatment and physiotherapy. Acupuncture treatment was applied with SuJok from the mini microsystem on the ying side, inserting three acupuncture needles 0.5 facial cun, prior disinfection of the finger at the points corresponding to shoulder elbow and wrist for 20 mts and reconsidered at 7 days. At the week the patient returned without symptoms, the presence of the previous lesion, only small residuals so another session of acupuncture was decided to perform for its total recovery. This condition affects esthetically and is more frequent in men; with the use of Sujok therapy, surgical treatment is not required.
