Atypical Poland syndrome

ABSTRACT

Poland syndrome is a sporadic congenital disorder characterized by hypoplasia of major and minor pectoralis with anomalies on the homorateral hand. This may be associated with other malformations, besides pectoral, cervical, intrathoracic or brachial and though there is no exact cause, it is know that may correspond to changes in the embryonic circulation during pregnancy. A case of a lactating female with hypoplasia of the major pectoralis it is presented with no other sign of malformation.
