ABSTRACT

Prurigo nodularis is a condition characterized by the presence of hyperkeratotic and excoriated papules and nodules secondary to skin damage from chronic pruritus. The pathogenesis is poorly understood; it frequently appears in people around twenty to sixty years, and is located on extensor surface of the extremities; this skin condition has suboptimal response to treatment, and requires multiple approaches.
