ABSTRACT
The phenomenon of population ageing calls for a new paradigm in differentiated care and adaptation of urban infrastructures and institutions to meet the human and spiritual needs of older adults. Although we have the intention, there is still much to do, especially to achieve nutrition education through the development of the necessary competencies in family members, caregivers and healthcare professionals. This article reflects on nutrition education in older adults and the challenges facing nursing in that regard.REFERENCES
