Thoughtful analysis of mexican nursing empowerment: myth or reality

ABSTRACT
The empowerment or empowerment in english is defined as the ability to make powerful or strong an individual or group is a feature that should have all health professional, however, not all disciplines involved in the care of the healthy person sick or has permeated the same way, so this work is intended to make a thoughtful analysis of the reality of mexican nursing empowerment and status. From a gender perspective, human and theoretical development, empowerment of nursing has an individual, organizational and social level, the reality of mexican nursing analyzed from these approaches is not ideal and should be modified with the knowledge generated through research, give him power in making decisions about the care of the person, autonomy and interdependent exercise of the profession within the health team, multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary way with a distribution of power enabling it to have access to information and resources.
