ABSTRACT
Introduction: the intraoperative awareness is a big magnitud problem, due to an incidence increase and consequence of psychological trauma. The research is about clinical monitoring of hipnothic depth and the Cerebral State Monitor (CSI) for the prevention, diagnostic and treatment. To compare the cerebral state index and the clinical valuation of anesthetic depth in colon oncological surgery patients.
Methods: a comparative, transversal and prospective research with correlation of
the possible relation of cerebral state index and clinical evaluation of hipnothic depth in six moments during surgery with diferents statistic tests.
Results: it was studied 65 pacients, the mean value of their ages was 61,8, tipical desviation 14,1. A 40% between 51–65 years and the 36,9% older than 66 years.
56,9 % male and 43,1 % female. The 52,3% was in the ASA II classification, the 40,0% ASA III and 7,7% ASA IV. The blood pressure values was between 63,9 and 75,3 mmHg, cardiac rate 69,4 and 81,6 per minutes and Cerebral State Index between 47,2 and 86,4. It was probed a correlation statistically significant r= 0,491–0.791, (p= 0,000). Cardiac rate and Cerebral State Index r= 0,828. (p= 0,000). Was obtained good values for blood pressure and global correlation with Cerebral State Index 0,58, cardiac rate 0,69.
Conclusión: the monitoring of hypnotic depth with clinical prediction, shown a reliability near the Cerebral State Index, correlation r= 1 in several moments of surgery.
