ABSTRACT
The objective of our study is to present the cementlees femoral stem preliminary results and interlocking in the revision surgery (IRH) implanted in the hospital Vall d´ Hebron of the City of Barcelona, in 45 patients (47 hips), 24 rights, 19 lefts, 2 bilateral, 31 patients of the feminine sex and 14 of the masculine sex, with a half age of 67.8, with a pursuit average of 27.5 months (9-48 months of range), obtaining excellent or good postoperative evaluations with the scale of Merle D´ Aubigne and Postel et al, inside the complications that we had they are the fracture transoperatory of the trochanteric osteotomy in 5 cases, it diaphyseal fracture in 1 case, 1 superficial infection of the surgical wound and 1 migration of the fastener distal; the results obtained so far are satisfactory so much clinical as radiographic, highlighting advantages in the stability of the primary anchorage, annulling the sinking or migration of the offspring observed in other not implants cemented, we restore the dysmetria and the muscular balance (pelvitrochanteric), diminishing the time of hospitalization and recovery, and thanks to their total cover of hydroxyapatite a secondary anchorage of biological integration has been observed with regeneration of the bony loss.
