ABSTRACT
Gingival recession has been associated as a risk factor to develop of dentinal hypersensitivity. Although different methodologies have been described to relief symptoms associated to dentinal hypersensitivity, remains the clinical conflict to solve the symptom rather than the cause or the predisposing factor. This article presents a clinical case of treatment of adjacent gingival recessions with tunnel technique and subepithelial connective tissue graft, in a patient with dentinal hypersensitivity severe and aesthetic discomfort due to the gingival recession. The purpose of this article is to provide clinical evidence about managing of a gingival recession with connective tissue graft in a root surface that, according to the scientific literature, must have dentinal tubules occluded by the therapy with 8% arginine and calcium carbonate (Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief
®).
