ABSTRACT
The present article deal with a review of the sexual diversity related with transgender. Specifically with transsexual people which
are those person in which self perception about gender is the opposite of the biological or genetic gender (either XX, women or
XY male).
Terminology with some degree of confusion is clear if gender identity (self perception) is taken as central gender. Sexual
attraction is not related to that gender identity, so a person could be male XY, self perception as woman and be attracted to
Esther woman or male, and the same could be said for woman that transform to male, although it is not very common to detect
transsexual male (FTM) been attracted to men.
Self identity is something that human beings acquired during the evolution or our specie. It is among the attributes of
consciousness, because it is necessary to be continuous for to be aware of ourselves. In transsexuals there is a incoherence
about what brain identify as self and what is apparent in the exterior trough the mirror. So that is the reason why people try to
make am effort to change gender appearance.
To get knowledge about this issue will be very important for transgender community but also to health care personal.
