ABSTRACT

Eating disorders have increased since 1970’s, and every day they still being more frequent among female adolescents. The current article reviews the different entities such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and the compulsive overeating. Also, we review the epidemiology, pathogenesis and clinical aspects of these diseases.
