ABSTRACT
Introduction: The strictures of the union ureteropiélica (EUP) represents the 44 to 65 per cent of prenatal hydronephrosis. There is concern that there is a over this pathology in utero. Studies have shown that the conservative management is safe in most cases.
Clinical Cases: two clinical cases with hydronephrosis prenatal, renography diurética compatible with EUP, the first case left and in the second bilateral. In spite of patterns renográficos frankly obstructive, both patients developed satisfactorily with conservative management.
Discussion: One of the challenges in the handling of the hydronephrosis prenatal is to identify the start of the descompensación renal before the start of permanent damage secondary to the EUP. It is important for the pediatric surgeon who is faced with these problems have a precise knowledge of this pathology and the current criteria for surgery; not to sobrediagnosticar and operate children asymptomatic with dilation “benign” of the urinary tract.
