ABSTRACT
The aim of this research was to determine the educator’s perspective about the implementation of a Nutritional Education Program in basic schools of the North Zone of Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela. A sample of 114 schools was selected and a selfadministered questionnaire was designed with a Lickert type scale to measure three dimensions: level of knowledge, motivation and the importance that school directors give to these kind of programs in their educative institutions. One of the analysis results was that most of the subjects reported an average answer that approaches to the positive option, this is, agreement with all the indicators of the three studied dimensions. The research concludes that there is a high tendency to collaborate in the implementation of nutritional education programs among the basic school directors of the study.REFERENCES
