ABSTRACT
Introduction: The appearance of the laparoscopy in the surgical field has managed to win you limit that we believed, we could not obtain with the present techniques of minimum invasion. Nowadays it is of routine practice the use of laparoscopy in the field of the surgery of colon and rectum as much by benign pathologies as you vitiate. We will describe the experience with a group of patients to who we practiced different types to them from Colectomys and we will discuss the results. Objectives: To make and to analyze the experience in Colectomys by laparoscopic made in hospital BICHAT of Paris and clinical Saint Marie de Pontoise during the period of November of 1991 until September of 1998 retrospectively and prospectively from September of 1998 to June of 1999, to compare the results with the statistics already known in Literature, and to determine the decrease of the morbidity with respect to the number of made procedures. Material and methods: Clinical histories of the patients were reviewed who were taken to Colostomies during November of 1991 until June of 1999. The collected data were analyzed and compared with present Literature. Results: As far as duration of the surgical act, and complications are comparable with the open technique. Respect to the conversion is clear that while you acquire the learning curve we are going to find the greater one number of these to avoid times very prolonged. Conclusions: The accomplishment of surgeries of colon and rectum by laparoscopy today is a reality with suitable results so that it is a safe technique and to maintain it like an alternative of first option.REFERENCES
