ABSTRACT
Introduction: The informative-promotional activities, especially those derived from insatiable lucrative interests, influence the cultural universe with a diverse and harmful impact, which today, inertially assumed, prevents the communities from distinguishing it because of the inadequate view of the community mental health that they present. It is added to his mercantile interest, a serious psychopathology and the manipulation of all the vectors of socialization. Before such a phenomenon, the members of the society, inequitably prepared to notice so noxious influence, are not also suitable to raise a proper and reasonable defense. The scientific groups and their social representation promote education for health and their psychosocial aspects: sexual education, against violence and the consumption of drugs, and activities in favor of the family. The scientific illiteracy contributes to the insufficient handling of health for which it is necessary to adequate scientific information and its appropriate social communication, in addition to the systematical analytical effort of the impact of mass media upon vulnerable populations, which for such an influence exhibit antisocial conducts, self and hetero aggression and other behaviors “in search of intense sensations” (like extreme sports, excessive consumption patterns and/or dependency on drugs, fast driving, promiscuity and sexual violence, carrying of weapons, store robbery, delinquency, etc.) with the purpose of appeasing emotional states derived from the existential gap, frustration and vital dissatisfaction, desperation, alienation, chaos and suicidal tendencies of many members of certain juvenile subcultures.
Conclusion: The responsibility of education and the mental health of children and young population claims a more energetic and decided participation of all those who constitute the society.
