ABSTRACT
Neural tube defects are the sourece of many malformations that change the life of the person many of these defects are caused by the toxic effect of different products, tabaco, toluene) deficit in folie acid intaike among othees and also vary in forms, hidrocephalis face malformations, meningocele amony others like the genetic change of more recent study. We anHized 77 new borms with neural tube defects from four hospitals ,in two years in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The possible prevention of this situation is presented.
