ABSTRACT
Electrocardiographic abnormalities in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage secondary to aneurysm rupture appear in 50% to 100% of cases. The most frequent electrocardiographic abnormalities are T wave deep positive, flat or inverted, T waves inverted associated with lengthening of the QT interval; positive or negative ST segment levels, prominent U waves, PR segment enlargement, acuminated P waves, pathologic Q waves and J wave. Other cardiac alterations include enzymatic elevation and ventricular arrhythmias. This paper addresses one case report and reviews current literature.
