ABSTRACT
A scientific poster is a graphic summary of research results, which has the advantage of providing a brief, interesting and visually attractive experience that encourages public interest in science, as well as in research and project publication. It is important to note that, within the field of orthopedics, there are specific details and considerations that must be taken into account when developing a scientific poster. This includes aspects related to anatomy, biomechanics, surgical approaches, use of implants, epidemiology, as well as the presentation of radiographic data and functional results of clinical studies. Presenting an effective poster in orthopedics requires skills in research, computing, design, writing, and presentation. Therefore, a comprehensive guide is provided that helps from the beginning to the end of the process to facilitate the development of successful work.
