ABSTRACT
A scoping review was conducted on the strategies of community-based rehabilitation in people with disabilities between 2011-2021, the eligibility, inclusion and exclusion criteria were established; PubMed, Scielo and Redalyc databases were reviewed in accordance with the DeCs and MeSh: people with disabilities, community participation, rehabilitation, health services for people with disabilities, social participation. Thirteen articles of the systematic review type, mixed and descriptive studies were analyzed; with regard to functional impairment, it was found that the research took into account people with disabilities with a predominance of physical impairment, followed by intellectual impairment. Regarding the level of self-perception and the level of social participation for this population was low for social activities or for attending and/or taking part in health and rehabilitation services, reflected in aspects associated with not believing themselves capable of carrying out tasks, participating in the community or living together with other people, the concealment of disabled children by their parents, the difficulty for social participation due to problems with displacement and barriers to function, among other aspects. It is concluded, according to the information analyzed, that the level of self-perception of the disabled population in the reported had representation in the low valuation, as well as the social participation for social activities or to attend or to take part in health and rehabilitation services, this because of multiple social and personal factors.
