ABSTRACT
Pancreatic pseudocysts are late complication collections after an initial pancreatic lesion. Few cases of giant pancreatic pseudocysts have been reported in the literature, defining those with a more than 10 cm diameter. A 61-year-old woman with a history of acute pancreatitis in 2018 and in January 2023 presented abdominal pain with a palpable, painless, mobile tumor. Endoscopic US and abdominal CT were performed where a giant 15 × 15 cm pancreatic pseudocyst was observed. Minimally invasive laparoscopic cystogastroanastomosis was performed without incident. The unusual presentation of symptoms, followed by the size of the pseudocyst, is becoming less frequent due to modern treatment options.REFERENCES
