ABSTRACT
Pemphigus is an autoinmune disease that causes blisters and erosions in the skin and mucous membrane. Between 80 and 90% of patients with pemphigus vulgaris develop skin disorders. The disease, when tratment starts from the initial stage, is easier to control, increases the possibility of early remission and a better quality of life. Nodular prurigo is an unknown pathogenic disorder. It involves the formation of hyperkeratotic and excoriated papules or nodules in response to skin trauma caused by chronic itching. It is more commom in patients between twenty and sixty years of age. It predominates in extensor surfaces of the limbs and the response to the treatment is sub-optimal, so multiple measures must be used to control it. It is presented a 60-year-old female patient with vesico-blisters and nodules accompanied by pruritus of a year of evolution, with multiple treatments, and without remission of the lesions. Biopsy was perfomed on two skin samples. The result was compatible with pemphigus vulgaris and nodular prurigo. The interesting thing about the case lies in the fact that it is rare to find the asociation of both chronic dermatosis in our environment.
