ABSTRACT
Dermoscopy is an auxiliary method for the diagnosis of skin neoformations, mainly melanocytic ones, which reduces the number of unnecessary biopsies. It is also currently used for the clinical evaluation of inflammatory diseases, trichopathies and nail disorders. The main barriers to implementing its use in clinical practice are the lack of access to formal training programs and the cost of the equipment for public health systems. The objective of this review was to describe and analyze the different teaching-learning methods implemented in training programs for general practitioners, residents and dermatologists.
