ABSTRACT
The nurses are in the search of a professional identity based in the care, with specific conceptual marks and with a valid nurse thought that provides the growth of the profession. In this order of ideas the process of infirmary attention (PIA) sets the guidelines to make grow the discipline and it is good as an instrument of valuation and diagnosis to improve the quality of the care. The present work was carried out inside a training program for the handling of the PIA that has allowed to improve the quality of the care; the conceptual mark of the 14 necessities of Virginia Henderson has been used and employed the NANDA taxonomy for the structuring of the infirmary diagnoses. The case of a patient is presented with aortic stenosis (AoS) and cerebral aneurysm, where they settle down goals to prolong the patient’s survival, to satisfy the necessities according to its hierarchical structuring and to improve its quality of life.REFERENCES
