ABSTRACT
Recently it has been demonstrated that the fatty fabric works as an endocrine organ able to secrete adipocytokines that participate in the regulation of the metabolism. Of particular importance they are the resisting and the adipocytokine for their role in the ethyology from the resistance to the insulin; the resisting is specifically a polypeptide secreted by the adipocytes that rises in the obesity. Its administration to mice diminishes the action of the insulin and it alters the tolerance to glucose. The adiponectin also secreted by the adipocytes diminishes in the obesity and in the diabetes type 2; it has been suggested that the hypoadiponectinemia is a primary genetic defect that contributes to the ethyology of obesity and the resistance to insulin.
