ABSTRACT

A 32 year old male without relevant personal background, which presented non quantified fever, testis ache, non productive cough, arthralgias, burning pain with hypoesthesia, and purpuric lesions in both limbs. Besides the symptoms the patient had the following clinical findings: livedo reticularis, ulcers and nodules. Lab findings (blood, lungs, skin, kidney, testis) corroborated the diagnosis: systemic polyarteritis nodosa. Although the patient had to go through unilateral orchiectomy, his recuperation was exceptional, AD Integrum, with immediate response to systemic steroids and cyclophosphamide.
