Poliarteritis nodosa sistémica con repercusión multivisceral grave

RESUMEN

Sujeto masculino de 32 años (sin antecedentes patológicos de relevancia), presentó fiebre, dolor testicular, tos no productiva, fiebre no cuantificada, poliartralgias de grandes articulaciones, dolor urente con hipoestesia y lesiones purpúricas en ambos miembros inferiores. Además de la sintomatología, entre las alteraciones clínicas destacan: Livedo reticularis, úlceras y nódulos. Las alteraciones halladas en laboratorio y gabinete (sangre, pulmón, piel, riñón, testículo) permitieron corroborar el diagnóstico de vasculitis de medianos vasos del tipo de la poliarteritis nodosa sistémica. Aunque requirió orquiectomía unilateral, tuvo excepcional recuperación multisistémica AD Integrum con respuesta inmediata a esteroides sistémicos y ciclofosfamida.
