Hallazgos ecocardiográficos y angiográficos en el origen anómalo de la rama izquierda pulmonar

RESUMEN

El origen anómalo de la rama izquierda pulmonar conocido como "sling" (honda) de la arteria pulmonar es una rara forma de anillo vascular que rodea la tráquea y produce estridor y sibilancias crónicas en el lactante. El reconocimiento temprano de esta enfermedad es crucial debido a que la historia natural de estos pacientes es la muerte antes del año de edad. Presentamos un caso de esta enfermedad con los característicos hallazgos ecocardiográficos y angiográficos que nos permiten hacer el diagnóstico.
