Propiedades psicométricas de la prueba breve de funcionamiento (FAST) en pacientes bipolares mexicanos

RESUMEN
El objetivo del presente estudio fue examinar las propiedades psicométricas de la Prueba Breve de Funcionamiento (FAST) en pacientes bipolares en México. Participaron 44 pacientes y 43 sujetos sanos quienes respondieron un cuestionario de datos sociodemográficos, la FAST y la escala de evaluación de la actividad global (GAF). Se analizó la estructura factorial, la consistencia interna, la validez concurrente y discriminante. Los resultados indican que la versión mexicana de la FAST es un instrumento de fácil aplicación, que requiere poco tiempo de administración y muestra propiedades psicométricas satisfactorias para evaluar la funcionalidad de pacientes bipolares eutímicos.
