Estado del arte de la trombólisis intracoronaria

RESUMEN
La trombólisis intracoronaria se utilizó ampliamente para resolver la trombosis coronaria cuando la angioplastia coronaria no era aún una práctica rutinaria. Posteriormente se observó que la trombólisis sistémica era igual de eficaz y más fácil de llevar a cabo, por lo que el primer método cayó en desuso. La angioplastia coronaria primaria desplazó a la trombólisis sistémica como el tratamiento de elección en los pacientes con infarto con elevación del ST. Recientemente se ha observado que la trombólisis intracoronaria es de utilidad en ciertos contextos, y se piensa que puede tener un papel importante en la prevención y tratamiento del fenómeno de no reflujo y de otras complicaciones embólicas.
