Enfermedad pilonidal: tratamiento mediante colgajos cutáneos

RESUMEN
La enfermedad pilonidal sacrococcígea se caracteriza por la presencia uno o varios
sinus subcutáneos profundos
con contenido de folículos pilosos localizados a nivel de la línea interglútea. Se han descrito diversas modalidades
de tratamiento para la enfermedad pilonidal crónica; los colgajos cutáneos para cubrir el defecto después de la
resección han contribuido a disminuir el tiempo de cicatrización y el índice de recidivas.
