Apoyo diagnóstico y rehabilitación de los síndromes neuropáticos en el miembro torácico por compresión

RESUMEN

El apoyo diagnóstico en los síndromes neuropáticos del miembro torácico por compresión es, además de la exploración clínica, la electromiografía, el ultrasonido neuro-musculoesquelético, las radiografías y, en algunos casos, la resonancia magnética nuclear, un elemento fundamental en el tratamiento de estas entidades. La rehabilitación participa también en el manejo de tales patologías, tanto en forma conservadora como postquirúrgica. Con este fin se utiliza calor superficial, profundo, frío, electroestímulos para mantener trofismo, para analgesia, masaje de deslizamiento, ejercicios pasivos, activo-asistidos, activos-resistidos, fortalecimiento, timón, escalerilla y terapia ocupacional para mejorar las prensiones y la función oponente del pulgar en el caso de la mano.
