Manejo endovascular de aneurismas intracraneales (AI) residuales posquirúrgicos

RESUMEN
Objetivos: Reconocer y evaluar los casos de aneurismas residuales posquirúrgicos (ARP) y su tratamiento endovascular
en nuestra institución.
Materiales y métodos: Se hizo la recolección ambispectiva clínica de todos los casos de aneurismas
posclipados tratados en un lapso de cuatro años y se analizó su manejo endovascular.
Resultados: Se cliparon 290 AI;
a 270 se les realizó una angiografía por sustracción digital (ASD) de control. Se encontraron 10 aneurismas residuales
(3.7), dos de los cuales se reoperaron, y a seis se les realizó una embolización con coils.
Conclusiones: Los aneurismas
residuales postoperatorios de nuestra institución son equiparables a los de la literatura mundial. La embolización de
estos aneurismas es segura y eficaz.
