Pancreatitis aguda

RESUMEN
La pancreatitis es la inflamación del páncreas exocrino como resultado del daño a las células acinares,
puede ser clasificada como aguda o crónica. La pancreatitis aguda es el daño reversible del parénquima
pancreático, que se caracteriza por dolor abdominal y elevación de los niveles séricos de amilasa y
lipasa. Su historia natural oscila de una recuperación completa hasta una enfermedad crónica
debilitante. En años recientes, se ha trabajado en el desarrollo de guías de clasificación, determinación
de la etiología, limitación de las complicaciones y en el tratamiento. Se realiza una revisión
sistemática con el objetivo de presentar la información basada en evidencia más actual y aceptada.
